1. Description 
1.1 Tensile Strength no Less than Pipe Body Yield Strength
The thread profile with 3° on the load flank, which meets mechanical locking condition, makes that fracture occurs under tension failure test, while jump-out occurs for API round thread. 
The thread critical section nearly equal to that of pipe body and enhances the joint strength.


1.2 Excellent Seal Ability—Gas Sealing Pressure Equal to 100% Internal Yield Stress 
Thread designed with small clearance—clearance between crest and root is 0.03mm, which minimizes the leakage path ( The clearance is 0.076mm for API round thread).
With optimizing thread parameters and appropriate make-up torque, the distribution of contact stress between pin and box surface is reasonable: high pressure between pin and box but stress concentration avoided, which improves the leakage resistance.

1.3 No Galling after Repeated Make-ups and Break-outs

FEA results
FEA results shows: no obvious stress concentration occurs between pin and box in TP-JC, but there’s higher contact stress between the contact surfaces; stress concentration occurs in API round thread. Therefore, the seal ability and galling resistance of TP-JC is better than API round thread.

 1. Description 
1.1 Threaded Connection
API BTC thread form connection with a taper of 1:16, 5TPI, enables high connection strength.

1.3 Pin-pin Contact
Pin-pin contact connection form ensure accurate make-up stop. And provide higher over-torque resistant ability & better bending resistant ability. 

1.4 Internal Profile 
The streamlined internal profile minimizes turbulence and energy loss when high-velocity gas flows.

1.5 Coupling Design
A little bit shorter design than API BTC make sure Pin-pin contact connection. Because the coupling covers the vanishing threads, the connection tensile efficiency is maximized.

1.6 Lower Stress Design
The lower stress design makes the connections reliable in Corrosive conditions.
