Tianjin Pipe Group Corporation

    

   Tianjin Pipe Group Corporation (TPCO),located in Tianjin Binhai New Area, is a steel pipe base of China’s energy industry. Its construction started in 1989,hot trial succeeded in 1992 and formal production began in 1996.Its principal product are oil casing and other tubular goods such as high and medium-pressure boiler tube, high-pressure cylinder pipe, hydraulic support pipe, line-pipe and others.

   TPCO has built a first-rate R&D center for tubular goods in the world equipped with vertical full-scale intermediate testing lines with which a TP product series that TPCO owns its independent intellectual property has been developed. Product steel grades have increased from 3 to 26 , accordingly varieties from several dozen to about 10,000, among which over 80 items are totally new in China. TPCO and Semag-Meer of Germany jointly won the bid for the BMZ pipe project in Byelorussia that marked the transition of TPCO from importer of technology to exporter of technology. Four achievements in the research of new processes and technology were rewarded the PrizeⅡ of “China National Award for Progress in S & T ".

      

   In regard to energy saving and environmental protection TPCO follows strictly the international standards, passed the certifications of ISO14001(the environmental management system)and OHSAS18001(the Occupational Health and Safety Administrative System) and carried out fully in building ecological factories for green manufacture and clean production. The afforestation coverage rate is 38.7% and the blue sky , the green trees and the clear water in the TPCO make the environment suitable for the harmonious coexistence of human being and nature. TPCO was honoured with the title of “National Afforestation Model Unit”.

       

   With respect to the future development TPCO sticks to the aim of “Serving the energy industry both of China and the world and participating in the international competition and cooperation” and wishes to have more partners to cooperate for mutual interest and benefit.
